Top 5 Most Expensive Weddings in History.

Olla our beloved La Casamians!
Hope you guys have a nice day.

This post’s topic is quite different from the other posts before, but it is still about wedding.

It is about:
Top 5 Most Expensive Weddings in History.

#5 Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mervinsky

The wedding was held in 2010.

The overall cost for the wedding is $5 million.

The bride was the daughter of President Bill Clinton and the groom was an investment banker and Chelsea’s childhood friend.

The bill included the rent for air-conditioned tents, a very expensive wedding cake ($11,000), attendance of Oprah and the rest was for the security costs for almost 500 guests.

#4 Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin

The bill for this couple’s wedding was almost $8 million.

The bride was working-class British girl and the groom, Wayne Rooney currently is the football player of Manchester United Football Club and England.

This expensive wedding took place in a very classical place, the 17th century villa and the reception was held at a medieval abbey high above Portofino.

#3 Prince William and Kate Middleton

The overall cost for this royal wedding was approximately $34 million.

The bride was a commoner but has very beautiful and gorgeous appearance, Kate Middleton.

The groom is the oldest son of Price Charles and the future holder of the throne of England.

Most of the cost of the wedding was for the security, flowers, and wedding cake.

#2 Vanisha Mittal and Amit Bhatia

In 2005, the cost for this first runner-up wedding was $60 million, or $66 million when adjusted due to inflation today.

The bride is the daughter of the billionaire steel-magnate, Lakshmi Mittal and the groom is an i-banker who is the owner of Swordfish Investments.

What the thing that made this wedding unique is the invitations for the guests mailed in silver boxes. They afford to did this because Lakshmi Mittal is the owner of the world’s largest steel making company  which is ArcelorMittal.

And the winner goes to:

#1 Prince Charles and Lady Diana

The overall cost of this most expensive wedding in history was $48 million in 1981, or $110 million when adjusted to the inflation today.

The bride was a gorgeous pre-school teacher and then became a global icon.

The groom was the oldest son of Queen Elizabeth II at that time.

The wedding  was held at St Paul’s Cathedral and the they had  27 wedding cakes five-foot-tall main cake that took about 14 weeks to make them.

They manage to make their wedding recorded in history because of their wealth.
But for us, most of us can't afford to prepare such a huge wedding ceremony like these.

Money is not important, but what the most important thing in a marriage is the love and trust.

Hope you guys enjoy reading this.

Thanks,
La Casamians!

Love,

Ethereal White & Purple Wedding

Hola La Casamians!

It's been awhile since the last time I posted something here.
(sorry because I've been sick for a week)

So today, I'll post 2 entries to pay back all the waiting.

They say, white is the natural pure color that can match with all the colors in this world.
Well I agree with the statement and today I'm going to inspire you to the ethereal white & purple wedding theme!

Remember this, "Purple has been used to symbolize magic and mystery, as well as royalty. Being the combination of red and blue, the warmest and coolest colors, purple is believed to be the ideal color."

May your wedding will be full with the warmth of your partner till the end of the world.

Love,
Casamiantors.
